A respite for post-college guys in a college town.

So, Toppers is an Athens institution. You'll see a mix of students from the University working for a bit of extra dough, some locals, and sometimes people blowing through for one reason or another. It isn't the best or the wildest strip club out there, but if you're looking for a place to get a couple drinks and relax in a college town without being the creepy guy in his thirties still hanging out at the college bar because he's sure he still got it, then there are far, far worse places, and there are boobs. Doesn't hurt that the next closest strip club is an hour's drive each way, in Atlanta.

As others have said, the quality of the dancers is hit or miss. Sometimes, the bartenders and servers are cuter than the dancer on the stage. Sometimes, you'll have someone who is just your type. The girls on stage trend towards several types, however. You have your skinny girls, your girl next door types, and some milfs. And then you sometimes have girls that have been thirty for the last thirty years, if not more, and things are flopping about a bit.

VIP room is $50 for a wristband that lets you into the VIP room for an hour, and then $30 a song after that. VIP room is a large room with open booths, so definitely no extras. The dancers do take the tops off, and all the dances I've had were grinding nicely. Touching is allowed, but nothing between the legs.
