Have I been wrong about this place?

Arrived around 11:30PM, there were lots of cars in the parking lot but some spaces still available to park. I went up to the front entrance and they checked my ID but didn't scan it and wanded me down in addition to tapping down my ankles to check for weapons. As a local they let me in for free. I don't think there's a specific drink minimum, I think they just want you to have a drink in front of you at all times. The club was pretty busy though and a cocktail waitress never came over. I think I could have gone the whole night without paying for a single drink but I did get thirsty halfway through my evening and paid $6 for a water with a $2 tip.

When I walked in there wasn't much open seating that I could see. As I scanned the room, a pretty fit dancer with implants walked past me, I checked her out for too long, and then decided to let her come sit with me. We found a spot in the bottle service booths that the girls use for $20 dances. She probably told me her name but I forgot it. She put on the sale really early (I kind of wanted to talk for a bit) but I let her lead me into a dance at the seat we were in. As she took her top off I proceeded to fondle her breasts. She wanted to dance for me with no touching and I wanted to touch her with no dancing. She said herself that we want different things and that I should try to find a different girl and put her top back on. She didn't ask me to pay for anything but seemed sort of disgusted with me so I gave her $40. I knew at the time, and I know now, that I probably shouldn't have given her anything but I had already been thrown out of a club earlier in the night and didn't want to get thrown out of another.

I got approached by a lot of girls over the course of the 3 hours I was there, more so than other clubs but it could be because I'm new to this club and haven't met/rejected all the girls yet. Most generally weren't my type and 2 of them came in doubles which are automatic rejections for me (though I wouldn't have taken either one of them alone). There were a lot of girls working but I was able to get every attractive girl I saw to eventually come to me and try to sell me some dances. There's a rule that the girls have to keep one leg on the floor but only about half the girls really enforced it. I never got any dances with the ones who insisted on it and most of them wanted to go to the VIP anyways. I had to reject a lot of girls that I legitimately wanted dances from because they didn't want to stay on the floor and let me grope them there. They said it would be ok in the VIP but this club charges $45 for 2 drinks in the VIP on top of whatever you agreed to pay the dancer and I can't support that practice. Also, in my experience, if they won't let it happen on the floor, it's probably not worth going to the VIP.
