Save your money and get more bang for the buck elsewhere

I decided to stop by the Pink Monkey for the first time in 5 years. Luckily, I stopped by after the Sox game with a ticket stub so I got in for half-price admission, which was $15 and a bottle of Merlot since it's a BYOB establishment. If I was paying the $30 full-price admission, it wouldn't be worth it at all. On top of that, you have to purchase a minimum of two non-alcoholic drinks since it's a nude club and the sale of alcohol is not allowed there. Anyway, it'll run you an additional $6 - $8 each, which totals up to $42 just for admission and two drinks alone, which is a total rip-off to me. As far as the dancers are concerned, they seemed average-looking to me, and they seemed discriminatory with certain customers they encounter. I felt shunned most of the night because there were some attractive ones I want to get to know and get dances from, but treated me like I was invisible. And for those whom I got their attention, they seemed aggressive when they asked me for dances without introducing themselves first. They behaved like used car salespeople trying to sell me a lemon on the lot. I had to turn them down because I felt like I was nothing more than a "dance" than a "friend" who buys her drinks and tip her for her time, which was my plan. When I get a dance, I try to get to know them and tell them what I like first to save myself from getting ripped off of a good time with her. Speaking of that, $30 for just an topless airdance? Sounds like a total rip-off to me, especially if the girl is wearing pasties to cover her nipples. Overall,the admission, the drinks and the dances are overpriced for my budget. Of course, it's near downtown Chicago where it's more expensive, but management should make the prices more reasonable, so we won't feel ripped off again. I could've gone to the strip clubs in the suburbs where there are more action than the city and could've gotten more bang for the buck.
