Lots of stages, no poles
This review is of a visit to Baby Dolls, Dallas, on Thursday April 26, 2018 in the afternoon from about 4 to 6 pm. The building doesn’t look like so much from the outside, kind of a warehouse feel, which is what most of the buildings near it are. It is right near the exit for Northwest Highway from I35E. There is a concentration of hotels and restaurants around there. The club is only about half a block off of Northwest Highway but you kind of have to know it’s there as there is no signage along the main road. To help find it it’s almost across the side street from the Holiday Inn Express. I was staying at one of the hotels and just walked a few blocks over. The parking lot is large, about half of it was blocked off for valet which did not appear mandatory. At this time entry was $3, no ID check or security scans.
The entrance is in the long side of the rectangular building. Just to the right of the entrance is an oval shaped bar. To the left is a wide staircase leading to an upper level which had another bar and a lot of chairs in which some of the lap dances are done. To the right is the main stage and behind it are more lap dance cubicles in an area with its own bar (bar not in use this afternoon). On the wall opposite the entry is a buffet setup, they were advertising free lunch 11am to 2pm. Waitresses were efficient but not pushy. I had Fiji water for I think $6.25. The male floor people were dressed in tuxedos. Besides the main stage there were six smaller stages, four near the main stage and two next to the stairs to the upper level. Dancers rotated among the 7 stages. The smaller stages were somewhat convenient for standing and tipping. It seemed a bit odd that none of the 7 stages had poles. I’m not very musical but I think at least some of the music was country. There were a few pool tables.
It was not particularly crowded but the number of customers increased as time went on, including some female customers. There were approaching 50 dancers, probably about half Latinas, the rest a mixture but I noted no AA’s. They were mostly early to mid 20’s, not fat, mostly well proportioned, not many with really big boobs. I had dances with two of them. One was a blond Russian, who was impressed when I said “Hello, how are you” in Russian (about all I remember from a college course many years ago). The other was from far Northern California, about to finish college, we had quite an extensive conversation before going for the lap dances. The lap dances were quite similar from both of them. I had 2 songs with each, $20 per song in the open but somewhat dark chairs in the upper level. Neither tried to sell anything more expensive, in particular I don’t know prices for the area behind the main stage. The money was payable to the dancer afterwards, neither asked for extra tips. Both were careful to wait for the start of the next song before beginning. The dances were the usual grind, two way touching , quite a bit of stick-shifting over the pants, kitty petting allowed.
