Rookie to HK - had a mixed experience

So I guess I'm one of the rare visitors to HK who didn't totally love it. Uber'd down from San Diego to the border crossing, quick and only $17 (took Uber Pool but got a solo ride). The border crossing took a few minutes but was basically painless, and from there it was an easy $5 taxi as described by others here.

First, the good - the variety and beauty of the dancers here is great, $1 bills go a looooong way, and the shaving cream show is every bit as crazy and fun as others have described. I'd never seen a girl get fucked by a literal power tool before (at least not in person) so that was fun. Had a lot of fun touching a lot of beautiful girls.

One of the things I don't like in strip clubs is the high pressure to go for VIP room (or more here). I'd rather take my time, check out the scene, meet some of the girls, and eventually go with the girl that feels right. At HK the number of times I had to say "no thanks" to people who kept pushing for immediate hotel room trips (both the women and the waiters) got to be a pain, especially given how many of them argued with me when I said no. Buying the girls drinks and getting handsy in the booth was a lot of fun, with one exception.
