Venus Favors The Bold.

To start off my miniature vacation in Tampa, my friend highly recommend that we begin our club hopping adventure at Mons Venus. It was a very brief drive from my hotel (5 minutes tops) and it is also a part of a very long strip of clubs on the road, so navigating around would be a breeze.

Anytime I find myself talking to someone who knows I strip about Tampa, the very first question I get asked is “Are you going to visit Mons?”. Every single time. Girls swear to me that I'd bank if I ever worked there, and guys swear to me that it tops all the clubs in North and Central Florida (though I think that's an exaggeration.) Not only that, but it seems to have a very good reputation on TUSCL - not quite in the same level as Follies in Atlanta, but fairly close. Since my friend wanted me to check it out so bad, I had no issue letting it be our first stop of the night.

It was going towards 10 pm when we drove into the lot. The entire parking lot was full, and there was a restaurant in the next lot over where some of the staff was barking at a car or two to keep out of their parking. We managed to find two free spots to park on the far side of the building before we got out and strode past a small crowd of guys, and most were mingling or taking a smoke break. On that note, when I saw the No Indoor Smoking sign at the entrance, I was absolutely ecstatic. I hate the lingering smell of cigarette smoke just sitting in the air at clubs where it isn't outlawed.
