Cold Friday in April

This visit to Diva’s was on Friday April 6, 2018 from about 9:30 to 10:30. The club is easy to find and has a large well-lit parking lot not very full this night. The entrance is at the corner on the right of the rectangular building. Cover was $5, with ID scan and patdown. The stage was at the end of the room with the entrance, with 2 poles and chairs next to it. The bar was along the long wall opposite the entrance with a lot of tables out in front of it. At the far end of the building were the restrooms and lap dance rooms.

The desk clerk at the hotel had said there were a lot of people in town for the opening of the horse racing at Keeneland the next day. If so they weren’t at Diva’s since there were only about 15 customers (no female customers). It was a 60 degree day that went down to light snow overnight.

Smoking was allowed but not too bad given the small crowd. There was no push for drinks and I didn’t order anything. The bartender and waitress were not particularly good looking. Most of the customers were sitting at the bar drinking, either by themselves or with dancers. The room had the usual colored lights etc. and was not overly dark or loud.
