On Its Way Back

After visiting some friends in Northern Liberties, decided to swing past my old stomping grounds at Set it Off. The spot was closed down for a few months for renovations. I actually visited the spot about 6 weeks ago, and it was so dry and empty, I left in less than 10 minutes as it wasn’t even worth writing a review. I decided to give it 1 more shot, and boy was I glad I did. There were approximately 8-10 girls working. They removed the benches and put up tall tables for hookah.

The girls were very friendly, but most important..... still $5 lappies! You definitely can have a good time here and spend less than $100. Still not a spot for extras. VIP is $30 for 2 songs. VIP is in a small room with 2 large seats and security is right there, checking in every 60 seconds or so.

It’s not the Set it Off from about 10 years ago, but it was a damn good time. Definitely worth swinging by if you’re not scared to travel up North Philly and like the combo of hole in the wall/ hood type atmosphere.
