All Around Me Are Familiar Faces ...

My time to check out the local clubs as of late has been pretty tight, and it was on a Friday night that my friend wanted to go out for dinner before a trip overseas for a long period of time. I had nothing to do that night, and he asked if I wanted to go Scores to check out their specials. Hell, why not?

It was early in the evening when we arrived there, probably no later than 8 PM when we did our usual entry, getting ID’d and searched by the bouncer and then paying the door lady $14 for our total cover. The parking lot was full, but with my past visits to Scores, it’s usually because a lot of staff and dancers drive to work and no so much that there are a lot of customers presently visiting. When we walk inside, we saw that the crowd was… decently sized, but not yet at its peak like you’d expect during the weekend. Standing for a brief moment to scan how much space is left in the seating areas, we eventually decide to sit at a table on the right-hand side of the room so we can eat and watch the selection of girls working.

Almost immediately after we pick a table to sit at, I find Kennedy, an old co-worker and present acquaintance, sitting at the front row of tables with another customer - or rather, she finds me. Immediately, she greets me with a bear hug and general ‘how do you dos’ and ‘good to see you again’s. She’s a pale brunette with a somewhat athletic body type, and while she is very pole trick savvy, her actual dancing (on the stage floor and with me in VIP) is kinda ditzy. We reconnect for a minute before saying that we’re going to have dinner and drinks before really engaging with the ladies, and give her the okay to continue her hustle.
