Okay, But Not Up To Expectations
I read reviews and heard good things, so I decided to check out Playhouse even though it was a bit out of the way. Got there right around 5, which meant I missed Erica (who the reviews had me thinking was going to be a favorite) and Tatianna. I also never heard Ruby's name, so I ended up missing her too even though she was there until 6. The other two girls I was interested in based on reviews were Leticia and Devon. I did catch up with them, and I'll get to how that went in a minute.
There was no cover, and an older blonde bartender asked me what I wanted to drink. Had a water for $5. Seems like a neighborhood spot, since girls talked to guys for long periods of time and passed right by me to get to others. Cool. Bar is pretty much a rectangle that surrounds the stage. Three poles total. DJ booth is on your right as soon as you walk in. The Eagles flag is...interesting. I will say the sound system is pretty good. Sometimes they play the videos along with the songs. Lots of TVs, although it was funny that one was on The Weather Channel and one was on QVC. Two rooms and the restrooms are along the left side. The doors are a really nice touch. The other dance rooms are in the back of the club.
The dance prices are posted all over the place ($30 for four minutes) and the DJ does call out numbers as you do songs. Tip walk wasn't that bad: only Leza and Sherri bothered me...and I can see why one previous review said not to even think about Sheri. Most girls went back to the dressing room after their stage sets.
