No Knockouts

I was traveling through Albuquerque for business and spent the night. I've been to the TD's clubs before, but never Knockouts, so I thought I'd give it a try. Arrived around 6:00 and expected to see more people since the area is busy with restaurants and bars, but it was pretty dead inside. They do waive a wand for security. A few guys and a creepy old guy were sitting at the bar. Bartender was taking good care of the locals, but it took 20 minutes before he acknowledged me. Can't exactly remember how much the beer cost, but I think it was $6. By the way, no dancers were on the single stage and none were present.

Sure didn't feel like a strip club. Finally, after about 30 minutes, a dancer appeared and took the stage. Nothing special by any means. The creepy old guy was all giddy and giving her lots of $1s. Did her 3 song set and sat at the bar with her boyfriend. Creepy old guy was bummed out -- he was hoping she'd sit with him. Now the stage was empty again and remained so for at least another 20 minutes. At least there was a basketball game on the TV to keep my attention. Finally, another dancer took the stage and that was my cue to exit. Lack of talent, pretty crappy atmosphere and lack of service. I will never go back.
