Back Yet Again

Headed back to Archibald’s the other day just after 5pm. I’ve been here a few times before but this was the latest I’ve stopped by. There were two dancers on the stage, two more at the bar, and three around this group of 4 guys. I found a spot near the stage to post up. I got an overpriced beer from the waitress who was actually the finest female in the bar. She said she used to be a dancer so it all made sense. I said Hi to one of the dancers who I’d met before and she sat with me for a moment before heading back over to the group of 4 guys. It was clear that most of the girls either expected to or had successfully extracted more money from the group of guys than what I could provide, which makes sense. I think the hope was to convince either one or all of them to go up to the VIP area, which is $300/hr by the way. Not sure how it’s worth that much but *shrug*. I spend a bunch of ones on the dancers at the stage.

Basically I’ve learned that if you come when times are very slow like in the middle of the work day, you will get the attention of the few dancers that are there if you spend even a little money. Be sure to tip them well while they are performing, then they’ll come talk to you afterwards. However, the later to arrive, the more competition you will have and the less likely it will be fore the dancers to hang out with you unless you tip them at least $20 to start.
