If you would be uncomfortable around...

If you would be uncomfortable around the urban DC crowd, this is not the spot for you. Open seating space, low rent warehouse-style club. That said, it has some good points. It is open very late and long after all the other clubs in the area have shut down. Considering DC clubs in the city limits are supposed to be no touch, this place certainly isn't and might not be a bad choice for after hours. Dances are legit and a nice price at $5 per full uncut song. Things don't really get moving until around midnight, and on weekends it'll stay crowded until close. There are several dance options, but most of the customers settle for the $5 variety where they sit. The place is BYOB. The chairs are all over the place, and vary from not that comfortable to uncomfortable to pretty torn up. The torn up ones are that way for a reason, and it'll cost you about $5 with the right girl to find out. Laps tend to be fully clothed, and you'll figure out what the rules are (YMMV). The dancers are not exactly conversational, but respond to positive treatment in kind. There are couches on a raised platform in the back with dances starting at $10, and higher priced booths up front. Yes, there's a VIP area. The main stage show ranges from yawn to great, depending on the girl(s) and mood. The ceiling is high and some dancers will climb the main pole all the way up to pull some stunts. You can get up to 3 or 4 at a time on the front stage some nights, and there's a secondary stage in back. No hassle for stage tipping, and generally low hustle for dances. Two things to keep in mind - the quality of the girls has a lot of extremes (from street to near dime) and if you see a girl that suits your tastes get her attention unless you have time to burn. It can take a while for them to free up once they hit a lap. Lots of girls to choose from (mainly black) and a buyers market on prices, but visit at your own risk. If you are not local/are not a regular take your time and get the lay of the land. Last time I was there a fight broke out (quickly settled to the bouncers credit but the guys stayed in the club) and people have been known to leave here feet first. The parking lot is also a major pain to get in and out of (potholes/steep hill) and watch out if your car rides low. Your best bet is to leave ahead of closing time and the place gets a 6 on upside.
