A Great Experience

Philly is a solid two and a half hours from home for me, but I was up here on business and thought I’d check Cheerleaders out. The club isn’t hard to find, parking is free, and on the night I visited, the cover was a reasonable $5.

It was hard to count how many dancers were there — I’d say maybe 20, which was good for how many patrons were there. I get the sense it’s usually a lot busier on Tuesdays, but the weather was miserable (sleet and freezing rain). Recognizing that I’m an easy man to please — I have really wide tastes, and I appreciate almost any nearly-naked woman — the dancers seemed very high-quality to me. There was something for almost anyone — spinners, chubby goth girls, curvy AAs, Asians, Latinas, PAWGs, you name it. Fascinatingly to me, there was a heavy international presence — I was approached by dancers from at least four different countries.

I was driving, so I just had a club soda, which ran me $3.50. There was a restroom attendant, but he wasn’t pushy, and the place was clean. I’m not a smoker, and I wished the club was less smoky inside, but you can’t have everything.
