Beautiful Dancers, Pleasant Club
Chez Paree continues to be the club I like best in Montreal. I returned on my last visit to the city and again had a nice time. Cover charge was $5. This was the only club I tried in Montreal with a coat check. Given the weather, and the fact I was walking there, this was a really nice feature, since wrangling a coat between chairs and dances was a pain. The coat check was $2.50. The hosts/bouncers still expect a tip for showing you to a seat. I don't quite understand this practice of Montreal clubs. It just breeds resentment of the bouncers even though they don't look for much. I'd think it'd be better all around to just charge $7 for the cover charge and put $2 in a jar for them.
In any case, the club was much as I remembered. It's not quite as dark as some, and has a larger stage. One of the bars has a good view of the stage, while another is set back (with some TVs) if you want some space from the crowd. My water was a typical $8. The stage show was good. There were very few pole tricks, but lots of good dancing. The dancers did two song sets, alternating with other dancers rather than doing two songs in a row (something common to Montreal clubs, but different from the US clubs I've been to). On the first song they'd get topless, and then (almost always) nude on the second dance. The dancers were hot. They tended towards long and lean, but there was some decent variety in body type and quite a lot of variety in ethnicity with asian, black, white, and Latina dancers. There were some implants, but most of the dancers were natural. Lots of tattoos on some, few to none on others. Overall, just a nice mix of dancers, and they were all beautiful to watch.
The private dances are $15 each or 15 minutes for $60, with a $5 charge to go into the dance area. Each spot is a curtained space around a chair. The chairs are reasonably comfortable, but have high arms that limit the positions the dancer can take on top of you. When the place was busy, I occasionally had dances going on in spaces next to me, and a loud conversation from there was distracting. Most of the time it wasn't an issue. The dancers all allowed quite a bit of contact, but, as typical in Montreal, there wasn't much return contact. The dances weren't at all robotic, so it was a nice time caressing and fondling beautiful women. The same petite brunette I met last year was there, and she recognized me immediately, which was nice. We had some more pleasant dances.
