Disappointing X2

I rolled into Wax around 345 last Tuesday. Parking was free. I dont remember the cover charge. I went straight to the bar and ordered a vodka and cranberry. The barmaid gave me the drink and said $10.50. WTF!!! $11 for a drink in a hole in the wall club in the middle of an industrial area, during the day?! Damn! I told her that the times before when I ordered that drink from this place, it was only 5 or 6 bucks. She said, well I gave you a premium vodka, since you didn't specify. Uhhh, I think it should be the other way around, unless I order premium.

That seems to be the trend now, for bartenders to upsell drinks. I know that they fill the premium bottles with the house liquor, and try to avoid the fancy name brands. Anyway, that put me in a bad mood. I gave the bartender a 50 cents tip. Shouldn't have given her anything! As I looked around, there was nothing to turn my mood around. There were 7 or 8 dancers. A couple of them were REALLY big. There were 30-40 guys in there. I have never seen it that crowded during the day. I hurried to finish my drink so that I could leave, and avoid some of the traffic. I left around 415, and headed to Blaze.

I guess I was a glutton for punishment, since I returned to Wax at night. I have had some awesome times with previous dancers from the club, and was hoping to repeat past success. No luck. Although there was 1 cutie, she was a little too reserved. She had a very classy look - nice, short hair style, smooth brown complexion, nice body. She gave a pretty good dance at the bar, but not good enough. I left.
