Still Under Construction

This place is huge on the outside . The main club has been gutted and under construction for over a year , therefore the bar and stages have been moved to this small area on the side of the building . I could see inside the main building when the door opened near the bar , and it was still just a concrete block shell . I asked the bartender how long before the construction is complete , and she just shrugged her shoulders .

There were only three dancers working at 9:00 pm and I was the only customer . One of the white dancers came by for some small talk and told me she had moved from Ohio . We got around to discussing a private dance , and she informed me they were $30. I declined that offer, as it seemed like a high amount for what I anticipated would be a low mileage dance . The three dancers took turns on the center stage , I gave a few tips , but club was just a bore . I finished my beer and headed for the door .

This used to be the premier club in Greensboro , but with their temporary ( or maybe permanent space ) , it is not worth a repeat visit. Maybe more dancers work on a weekend , but this was just a waste of time .
