Very Good, No (unwanted) Surprises

This is one of my go to clubs. I've been coming here for so long that it almost feels like home. This review covers Sunday and Monday.

As I drove myself, I wasn't charged a cover each night. I know I went on off nights and can't say it will be the same on peak days. The staff were exceedingly friendly. I missed seeing James the bartender or Herb the Men's Room Attendant who both had days off when I was there but made new friends of Jay, a bartender; Tommy, a manager and Vinnie, a doorman (from Brooklyn - of course). They've done some renovations. Thank goodness the rope light is gone. Seems they've got a more exclusive area up around the DJ. A second stage, bar and seating behind an area that used to be bottle service only but now is open seating. A fun time was had by all. There were quite a few mixed groups there with some of the women being more aggressive with the dancers than the men were or dancers being more aggressive with the women customers which was also amusing to watch. On one of the nights the amount of rain from the groups was ridiculous and trying to compete with that was futile. Thankfully, the dancers understood

(An aside, on this trip I did notice many more female patrons in all of the clubs I went to. Certainly not singles like us regular PLs. Wonder if we have an equivalent term for them yet.)
