This Club Is Getting Darker

I hate writing a short review based upon a short visit, but sometimes an update on the state of affairs is valuable even when it is not lengthy.

I pop my head in the club every so often and did so last night as well. I was waived in around 8:00 pm without being charged a cover, which I definitely thought was decent of them. But what I found was a crew comprised entirely of black girls. Don't get me wrong, they were pretty and had nice bodies, but even still chocolate is not my first preference and I would have liked a little more mix in the crew. They were also on the younger side and made common mistakes like loading up on perfume (which is a no go for married types). This situation is similar to what I experienced in my last couple of pop ins as well, though occasionally I do see a less attractive white girl or two.

The other thing that is frustrating is that I rarely see the same girl twice. I've been told by a couple of girls who went back to other clubs that it is because the staff doesn't treat the talent well and shakes them down for extra cash. I don't know the truth of it one way or the other, but the club's inability to hold on to talent makes this explanation as likely as any I can think of. In an area with several other close by options for the dancers, a club that is still trying to get on its feet needs to be more accommodating than those that have a steady clientele, not less, but penny conscious/pound foolish seems to be the approach in this place.
