Some Potential, But Be Prepared To Wait

I arrived at St. James around 10 PM on a Friday night. Paid $15 cover to get in. They have a metal detector but don't check/scan ID.

The club is large - two stories, with part of the top story reserved for VIP customers. Dancers rotated from a large stage at the front to two side stages on the ground floor to another small stage upstairs overlooking the floor. There were two songs per rotation, so if you saw someone you liked on the front stage, you knew it would be a while before she was available for private dances.

There was plenty of talent on hand - when I left an hour later, I still saw dancers I hadn't seen before doing their stage rotations. I'm sure I saw over 20 dancers in total. Good mix of ethnicities; about 20% AA, 40% Latina, 40% white. I have to admit I wasn't terribly impressed with the talent level, for it being a peak night and all: I didn't see any dancers really below a 6, but also wouldn't have put anybody above an 8.
