It seemed to match the quality of the magazine
I was about 7 pm when I arrived. The parking lot had half a dozen cars. The outer decor is wonderfully Vegas-Tacky. Just right for Larry Flint's Hustler Club. I was charged $10 cover, but there was an "open" bar for the next hour, so I could easily make that back. The the front bouncer patted me down for the security check. In all the times I've been to Vegas clubs, I've only had to deal with security twice. Once at the Sapphire and now at Hustler. Take that as you will.
Inside I was underwhelmed by the main floor. It's not seedy, or run down, or cheap. It's just "eh". The lighting was brighter than most clubs in Vegas, and without any colored lights. There are 2 dancer stages, without steps for the dancer to easily get on the stage. At least I didn't see any. That's got to be an OSHA violation. (Are you getting the hint on the impression the club made on me?) Flanking the main floor are what I assume are VIP booths that can be curtained off for some privacy. I was in the club for 3 or 4 hours. Not once did I see them in use.
First stop? The restroom. Hey, some things just can't wait. Anyway, they were well appointed, clean, etc. However, the wash basins are shared by both the men's and women's room. And they are in plain sight of the main floor. All you filthy losers be forewarned! Everyone can see if you wash your hands after you do your business!
