The more things change, the more they stay the same

Reveal (Previously called The Boom Boom Room for the last 15 years) is now completely owned by the owner of Xpose. It was previously co-owned along with the proprietor of The Kit Kat Lounge, Lucky Devil Lounge, Devils Point and other venues.

On to the stuff you actually care about: Same vibe, same women working there, same management. Dances are worthwhile on and off stage. It's cramped, and has a divey feel to it. The evening shifts change around 9PM... normally I'd suggest going to a club an hour before to catch the most women working, but it seems to work a lot like its previous incarnation, where just one or two women are left at the end of a shift, and the late shift doesn't really roll in until 10PM.

Some things have changed, however. The lighting and sound are much better, it's not as filthy, and there are actually places to sit that don't involve balancing on a chair missing a caster while cowering under a beam. If you've been to Xpose, you already know what the interior looks like. The Boom was essentially a poker house for the last ten years, and it was pretty clear no one gave a damn about running a decent strip club- hopefully, things have changed for good.
