better than expected. can't wait to go back!

gold club has been open for over a year and I never went since it sounds exactly the same as scores. overpriced and low mileage. I went on Thursday to see about the $10 lappers. wasn't sure what to expect with regards to talent and up selling VIP/CR. the valet was $6 and the cover was $10. club is most definitely on the "upscale" and "classy" side. it's huge inside with plenty of seating and probably some vip/bottle service seating too. there's 4 stages and dancers on all 4 stages most of the time I was there. music could be better as it was mostly edm/techno crap. but I digress. who really cares about the music? I went to the back bar to get a $7 beer and went back out to the main floor to scope the talent. didn't take long at all for a decent dancer to find me. actually I think they all did a good job circulating the crowd. but the first girl I talked to did confide in me that the house mom/staff encourages them to work the crowd. I got dances from 3 different dancers. all provided heavy excellent grinding and some "discreet" below-the-waist contact(basically when the bouncer isn't back there). the "dance room" was certainly being used for its purpose. after midnight, the dance room was 75% full every time I went back there. since this not a nude club(and no nude dance option), there was no upsell to a $20 nude dance. songs were good length. I'm surprised how long my money actually lasted. I guess the only minor negative was a lack of high end talent. no 9s or 10s out of 30 or 40+ dancers. but I was happy and content with the 7/7.5s I got dances with. most of the dancers(that I got a good look at) fell into the 5-7 range with maybe a few 8s depending on your tastes. overall the dancers I talked with were all friendly. so if you're not looking for models or beauty queens, this is probably the best value in the area. good mix of ethnicity and body shapes, I think most people, if your not picky, can find something they like. i recommend gold club for Thursday for the $10 dances but not sure it's worth the full $30 price.

miscellaneous info: they have a dress code and coat check. in keeping with the "classy upscale" image dancers walk around in dresses off stage. also they have a bunch of tv's but no sports. seems like a waste.

finally, I was told by the bouncers that in order to move around I have to tell a floor host I'm moving. after that I stayed put in a high traffic area at a table near the center stage. while it didn't interfere with the dancers finding me, I do prefer to move around but maybe that's just me.
