The afternoon shift

I hit the Showplace on Monday afternoon. Daylight hours does nothing good to the interior of this place. It hasn't changed inside in at least 15 years and I actually saw a dancer that I would swear I saw then too, one of the Russians. The dollar parade is relentless and you are accosted before you even get all the way to your seat. If you don't feel like just plowing through singles, you need to sit off the bar but be prepared to be harassed. I was offered everything literally before I sat down, as I walked to a seat. The quality of the dancers on the day shift is in the 4 to 6 range with an occasional 7.

It's safe, there is plenty of parking, the clock is a hard clock in the lap dance rooms, and if you don't pay attention you will spend $40 when you only wanted to spend $20 on a dance.
