The ultimate crap shot

I’m in ATL a decent ammount for work so I’ve had the chance to visit Fannies several times since my last review. Bottom line is it is that you never know what you’re going to get. Sure, the day of the week and time of day matter in general, but at this club if it’s on it’s good and if it’s off it’s bad. But, by bad I mean “neighborhood dive bar that has strippers and is super low key”.

The way I look at fannies is that the ceiling is pretty high - if you catch it on a day when there is energy in the club and girls decide to show up it can be lot of fun. It’s a low pressure, low hustle environment where you can get pretty good table dances and negotiate for the VIP and get what you’re looking for. If its a slow day you might be one of two guys there with the girls maybe not even really dancing, circulating or perhaps talking only with their regular. in that case it’s really just a dive bar. But it’s a decently clean one where I’ve never felt uncomfortable or unsafe. So at least it has that going for it.

My latest time there is a good representation of it. Monday night, maybe 10:30. I get there with perhaps 6 girls dancing that night. Half of them are glued to regulars and the other half are half heartedly doing drive-by “wanna dance?” I have a few beers, watch whatever game is in the tv and get a table dance from the hottest of the girls. It’s fine, decide to go for another to evaluate VIP potential and she falls asleep half way through. Literally asleep on my lap. Who knows what happened but that ended my night. Was it bad? No. But I’m not going to say it was good either. It was a Fannie’s night. I’ll try again and it could easily be stellar. You just never know.
