Another Portland dive

To be honest I haven't been feeling the clubs lately. Seems like they are either full of entitled gps afflicted hustlers or scary methy fatsos. I admit I'm too cheap to throw down $40 for a dance or even $100 for 9 minutes of semi-erotic lapdancing. I miss the good old days when dancers acted like they were your friends and were into having a good time as much as you were at $20 a song, instead of just trying to extract as much cash as possible from your pocket before leaving you with a boner in your hand.

But I was out and about on a Wednesday afternoon looking for any excuse to avoid going back to work and decided to stop in Shimmers. I had seen a particular dancer's profile on another site and thought she looked promising so wtf. It had been a couple years but the place had not changed at all. Anyway, the place was almost empty, with the exception of a couple middle aged Asian dudes obviously skipping out of work like me. The cute dancer did not seem to be around and the ones the were there didn't do much for me. One girl looked okay, was pretty and had a nice ass, but had a beer belly that kind of spoiled my attraction. Sorry to be so superficial, but c'mon man, she is a stripper after all. But everyone was friendly, including the bartender and I felt comfortable. I may try again and see if the cute girl shows up. Then again, I may just save my money. Strip clubs kind of suck these days.
