Trending slightly lower, with enough bright spots remaining
I've been coming to HBs for day shift every few months for maybe the past three years. In that time, it feels like dancer quality on average has dropped marginally, with cover recently increasing from $10 up to $15. The facilities are unchanged, and at least drink prices have stayed near rock-bottom ($1.50 domestic bottles is a great price for any type of bar).
Despite the decline in average dancer quality, I'm still usually able to find two or three ladies who get me fired up. (Shout-out to Mackenzie for near-perfect scores on my physical and personality attractiveness scales.) I typically find myself staying for a couple hours, getting two or three sets of private dances (5 for $50 downstairs or 5 for $60 upstairs, which is usually in the ballpark of ten minute sets due to the abbreviated song format used).
My latest visit at the end of December didn't stray from my usual routine. Had a few drinks and a few dances. I couldn't tell if staffing was lower than usual or if the ladies weren't working the floor with the usual vigor. Nothing particularly remarkable, but with the state of Chicago clubs this will remain my default option due to consistency and proximity. I may journey an extra twenty minutes out and back to see how Polekatz delivers on dayside, so stay tuned for future reviews.
