Disappointed

My buddy and I decided to hit a strip club instead of going to a regular bar. Being that we're in the southern part of Rock County, there aren't alot of choices. Neither of us is a fan of Isabella Queen, so we debated between the 2 bikini-bars in Rockford, or the 2 strip clubs in Darien. It wasn't an easy choice, because non of those 4 clubs is very impressive. Eventually, we just decided to go to Showpalace, since neither one of us has been up that way in quite a while. We got out there at about 10:30 pm. It was really busy. After paying the $10 cover, we went and sat at the far end of the bar.

Right away, the "shot girl" and one of the bartenders started trying to push shots on us. They were really pushy about it, which kinda irritated me. We ended up doing one shot, but said no to anymore. As far as the talent goes, there were 2 really good looking blondes. Other than that, I didn't see much that caught my eye. One very skinny brunette came over to my buddy, after we had been there for about an hour. After about ten minutes of her sitting on my buddies lap, they went off to the lap dance both. When he finally came back, he said he had spent $115 on 3 dances! They're supposed to be $25 a dance, but apparently, she had 3 "tip options" ($20, $40, or $60) that would "make the dances better".

Dumb-ass got conned into doing the $60 tip. Sucker! Basically, it was the same kind of touchy-feely dances that you get at the bikini bars in Rockford, except this chick pulled down her panties and was grinding on my buddies lap (yes, his pants were still on) with her bare kitty. She only did that for a few minutes. That was the extent of the "extra fun". Definitely not worth $115 for three dances. Anyway, I was the invisible man to any chick that wasn't the shot girl or bartender. Just like being at Bigfoot, down in Rockford! One of the hot blondes that I saw, was constantly hanging around a really old guy.
