Same old same old

So the recent improvements amount lipstick on a pig. It's still a smokey armpit of a club. Went in and paid the $5 fee then the $6.75 for a beer and settled in on a very uncomfortable high top table. There's only comfortable seating for about 6 guests here unless you want to be on the rail or at the bar so I ended up sitting in the middle of the club. Other patrons were smoking like chimneys all around me and it was borderline intolerable as a non-smoker.

But enough with the bitching about the smoke. You don't come to Bogarts for the ambiance, you come for the action. There were about 15 dancers on this Tuesday afternoon and only a handful were hot enough to consider taking upstairs. I waited for one of the decent looking ones to become available but they were saddled up with regulars.

After about 30 minutes I'd had enough asphyxiation for one afternoon and decided to pay the premium charged across the street where I could relax in a comfortable booth with cleaner air.
