Was feeling a bit of the December blahs, and on the recommendation of a previous reviewer, I thought I would check out a club I hadn't been to. It wasn't bad, but in the smorgasbord of clubs in the area, I am not sure I would come back.

Really, the biggest challenge here is the location. It's a pretty secure, well lit, and busy area - but it is Hollywood & Vine. It also is expensive to park, with lots charging $10 to $20 for the evening in competition with all the club goers. Probably didn't help that I was there on a Saturday night. Cover was $20 to get in, which supposedly came with a soft drink, but the bartender (who couldn't talk loud enough over the music) seemed to say that there were restrictions on what drink I could or couldn't get for free. She was also rarely there, and made for a thirsty night.

The club looked good on the inside, if a little brighter than I prefer for a club. I also expected it to be bigger. There was almost not enough places to sit in the club; especially with half the seating areas roped off for the non-existant VIPs. The edges of the main room held the Deja Vu vending machine dance areas; just private enough to feel comfortable for a dance. The VIP was almost less private - with it's own vending machines, in a back groom, but the couches only had a thin bamboo thingy to keep the different areas seperate.
