I had a good time.

Ok, the layout has been covered a billion times. The bar is a big square and the stage is inside it. Pretty much like almost any other Queens club, except bigger than most of the others. There is really no seating away from the bar, so you just need to bite the bullet on the tip walks and plunge in.

But I have been reading about the decline in talent and I'm not really sure what others are comparing it to. Easily half of the girls who got onstage could work in almost any club in Manhattan, at least for the few hours that I was at the club. Sure there has been a slight decline in talent since the club's heyday, but it is still far and away the best option in Queens for seeing hot girls and I fell in lust a couple of times. The only reason I gave the club an 8 instead of a 9 for Vampiness was because there were indeed some girls who didn't look so good, but some of those girls were hot as fuck and looked elegant too.

On the value front, I almost always nick them a bit and maybe I always will. I got in before the cover charge kicked in, but not before the drink prices went up (which is at 4:00 PM on Sunday and even earlier during the week). However, with a little tipping my bartender gave me some real love on the pour, so it didn't take too many $20 double Jacks on the rocks to get me to a toasty place. I guess the only reasons I couldn't give them more than a 6 are that (1) they have the earliest end to their happy hour of any club that is open during the day in that area; and (2) one can only sit at the bar and the tip walks are a real cash burner, though it wasn't as bad as I've seen it in the past. In many clubs in many parts of the country, one can pick and choose who can focus tipping on, but it is harder to give better girls much larger tips with all of the charity tipping mixed in. I am far from cheap, but there is only so much money I want to devote to tipping at the stage on any given night.
