For What It Is. . .

In Carlsbad for a conference. All research and suggestions showed this was the only club for miles unless I wanted to drive back down to San Diego or further South. I didn't have that luxury and went to Main Attraction understanding from the reviews what I was in for. Btw, it is on North Coastal Highway. My GPS got it wrong.

$11 cover got me in on Friday around 7. Big space with big stage as stages go, single spin pole. Lap dance area to the left with a series of couches (bench like things set just a bit too high) separated by counters with cup holders(!) inline around the wall. Bathroom to the right, which was a disaster, could use a troll to keep it clean (and the floor dry). Bar opposite stage. Rolling chairs around small tables. Diner stools around stage. Kitchen closes at 7:30-8.

I opened a tab (CC and license) with the waitress. She stayed very attentive all night. Initially only about 5 girls working though it looked like the evening shift was coming in but later it seemed only 10 girls working. Customers initially old PLs like me. Later, what I assumed were some young military dudes (Pendleton is near by) due to their haircuts and then other long haired bearded PLs with a few Hispanics thrown in. I was very concerned this would be a locals place. Us transient PLs don't do well in those places.
