Final fling at BBR

BBR was unlike any club in town. It wasn't uncommon to find zero dancers around during the afternoon shift, and even when there were a few, they rarely were on stage. So what was the point? Well in my case it was a place I could drop in to drop out of my responsibilities for an hour or two. Over time I got to know the grumpy ass bartender and several of the dancers. Some of these fine ladies were fun to hang out with, whether at the bar gossiping about the other dancers and other pl's or back in the private dance booths, where depending on the lady, your dance dollars could go a long way. So the closing of BBR for "remodeling" is a shame.

It will have new owners from what I hear, the same folks that own X'pose. And X'pose has never been my cup of tea, so I'll be skeptical of the new improved BBR whenever it comes online. Especially since they are saying they want it to be "Gentlemen's Club'. Fuck that. Who the fuck wants to hang out with whatever a strip club owner thinks is a "gentleman". Another "legendary" Portland den of debauchery gone. sigh.
