First Stop on 8 Mile

This was the first club I hit on my tour of 8 mile. Decided to drive East to West since I was on that side of town. So all that meant really is that I would be making a U-Turn to get to every clube between Players and Trumpps. One of the locals explained to me why that was, but it was funny to see being an out of towner. I parked on the side street behind the club so I wouldn’t have to valet the car. The parking lot attendant was cool with that, and since I was parked where the club has a camera he told me he’d keep an eye on the car as I was walking in. He got a decent tip for that.

This club looks bigger than it is. One of the few clubs I’ve seen where strategic use of mirrors has the intended effect. It looked like there was a whole 'nother section of club back past the bar from the booth I was sitting in up front. Not sure if it cost anything to sit in a booth along the wall or not, but one the bouncers walked over and invited me to sit in one. Staff was very attentive, and the vibe was pretty lively for an early afternoon. Probably about 10 customers scattered around the club in booths and the bar. This was a Wednesday.

Since I was sitting in a booth near the entrance, I had a clear shot of the stage and one of the big screens they had going. Two dancers were up on stage, and the girls looked pretty good. Not all stunners, but they had a couple of lookers and the rest weren’t bad. There was a tan skinned hottie I saw on stage who caught my attention, so I tipped her and invited her over for a chat. Cutie. Nice body. Not everyday you see a dancer with a Mickey Mouse tat, but she rocked it well. I had a lot of clubs to see on dayshift, so after a quick trip upstairs I was on my way. The dance booths up there are private, like little individual rooms, with something in the doorway to offer some additional separation. Think it was beads, but it didn’t really matter since the only interruption was another dancer and customer walking by to their booth.
