Just Go. If You Don't Like it the First Time, Go Back Later.

Another reviewer already gave a great local’s perspective on how the club got here and what it’s about. I’d been to Mickey’s back when it was open, but not enough to miss it when it closed. I’ll recommend the place, but know what you’re getting into before you go. You might get hit up for a membership. It is a dollar. If you’re presented with a card to fill out, just put something reasonable (or ask). I only got asked once, so no big deal.

Misty tends bar. They’ll get you for a membership for a dollar but it’s no big deal. Just ask what they want you to put on the form before you fill it out. This is not a fancy place. Customers keep to themselves, but a lot of them are regulars so there is a lot of chatter. If a customer talks to you it’s very likely just being friendly or bar chit chat. DHP has more of a titty bar feel to it than a full blown strip club. But not to worry, there is a small stage, girls dance on it and strip, and there are private dances. There are girls who will provide $10 and $20 options per song on the dances. Negotiate that however you want. Compared to other clubs around town (or in general) you are coming out way ahead either way.

There are some lap dance boots in the back. They have curtains. Bouncer won’t hassle you but is also not stupid. There’s a pool table over by where the girls have their dressing room. Misty is cool. It’s a full bar. Beers are about two or three dollars. $3. Drinks are 6 to $8 depending on how much liquor goes in them. five or six dollars. Cost me $8 for a vodka and cranberry and a beer. Club is chill. Period. Other customers will chat with you. A couple them might joke around with you, but there’s no harm in them being friendly. Two guys down at the end of the bar (on the high side) had to tell me the same joke three times through their laughing, but I eventually figured out what they were talking about. It was funny that they thought it was funny.
