Well, That Escalated Quickly

Parked a couple of blocks over and walked up to the club. This nutty thing about Detroit clubs is several of them insisted on doing valet parking. This club didn’t, so that was an automatic win. When I walked in the club didn’t strike me as the fanciest of clubs, but there was some money put into it. They had a kitchen and a full menu, and the staff was professional and attentive. I had just eaten, or otherwise I might have checked out what the kitchen had to offer. The bartender and waitstaff was also prompt and friendly. There weren’t that many customers and it was early in the day, so can’t really speak to how customers would far on a crowded shift. Drinks were reasonably priced for a strip club.

There were a few customers around, less than 10, but they seemed to be having a good time and the few dancers on shift in early afternoon were mingling. I tipped a dancer named Cherry on stage and was waiting around for company when I noticed a girl walk in the front door in street clothes, talk to the guys up front, and then walk back out. Don’t know who the girl was, but I do know she was packing a ridiculous ass in those stretch pants, so I got up and walked over to find out if she was coming or going. The manager on shift, who sounded a lot like Steve Harvey as a random tidbit, laughed and said she tried to come into work but he didn’t let her. I just said that was too bad and went back to waiting on a dancer. There was another dancer named Marina who also caught my attention. Light skin and also was packing some heat in her trunk.

The main stage was raised up a bit, runway style, with some interesting trim up top. Kind of like a neoclassic kind of vibe, which is funny because the club named Coliseum in town had absolutely none of that decor. The tables were small round, typical strip club style. The chairs were also standard strip club fare, but were in decent shape and the place looked clean overall. Had the occasion to check out the bathroom while I was there and it was also in decent shape. No complaints on how the club was set up. It was nice place. Black clubs get a bad rap on TUSCL, but this place was legit. At least on dayshift there seemed to be no problems with the location or the vibe.
