Babes Lives...Sort Of
This club used to be Babes. Babes wasn't a great club, but it was underrated. I heard the guy who used to own Babes owns Club Blush now. This club was not crowded. It was basically empty, but I couldn't really tell you why. There were three dancers on the shift would rate cute in just about any club, which is about the same number I saw in one of more upscale clubs and more than I saw in the club I left to stop by here. The decor is about the same as it was when the place was under the former owners. Some of the chairs are in pretty rough shape, but the staff was attentive and the club should be doing better business than it is.
Drinks were cheap. After 9pm everything was $5. Dances were $20 a song, and while that's a little higher than custies in SA like to pay they were worth it. Both the regular lap dance and VIP dance areas have curtains hanging to offer some privacy. The difference is the VIP area in the back has seating for one and the regular dance area has seating for three. The music selection was typical, bass heavy stuff. The dancers were bored and amusing themselves, and even though there weren't many customers the hustle factor was pretty low. None of the dancers who were dressed I was say was less than a 6, which could have been because it was a Friday or because they are someone keeping talent when business is slow.
I'll say that I could have seen the place on an off night, but it's a Friday and even dives can do business on a Friday. I heard the place has been open a few months.
