So Boring an Awkward Customer Became Part of the Show
Deja Vu downtown by Pike's Place. Sex shop on first floor, and the club is accessible up a set of stairs from a street level entrance. Violet was a short-haired dancer dancing on stage when I walked in. Real slim and she looked pretty good on the pole. A lot of the dancers were dogging it around town on their stage show, so it’s nice to actually see a dancer kind of putting some effort into her routine. The DJ was mumbling so I couldn't really understand what the hell he was saying. I had to get up and ask a dancer what her name was because I couldn't figure it out. While she was on stage all eyes were on her, and that was the high point of the visit.
Pretty much in the middle of her set I had some weirdo customer put his hands all over me because I guess I was sitting in his seat. Funny thing was there was entire group of people sitting there, and no one had said a word. In polite society it’s perfectly acceptable to give people a polite tap and let them know they had some claimed a seat in a mostly empty club, but what made it weird was the guy rubbed me around both shoulders. I thought there was dancer trying to get my attention, only to turn around see that I just got rubbed up by a dude. Exactly.
So because apparently some men need to be told how not be weirdos, I asked him not to touch me and moved about one foot over to the next empty seat. Did I mention that the club was mostly empty and there were plenty of seats? Maybe his special friend was the dude next to me. Who the fuck knows? Now there’s a guy sitting by me who’s acting all tense and butt hurt because the stranger he tried to rub up called on him on it in front of his buddies. At his age there’s usually only one thing left to do to save face, but he wisely passed on that option and I got back to watching a naked chick dance on stage.
