You Can’t Go Home Again...But You Can Probably Get to Second Base

Oh, how the mighty have fallen. How far? Enough where a terrible cliche seemed like an appropriate lead in. Showed up here late on a Sunday and there was NOTHING happening here. Might have been one other customer.

This place looked nothing like I remember from it’s fading but still glory days. The place looks a lot smaller now, but kind of the same. You can see bits of the old club in pieces, like near the bar and the DJ booth. Might be in the same spot, but they're so totally different that this club might as well be a new place altogether. This place was really something, but much like San Francisco DV has turned a former standout city into a shell of it’s former self. The place was done in lots of red, and definitely is carrying the DV look and feel.

Ascarra (sp) was a blonde who looked a little like Alexis Texas dancing on the main stage. She looked good on stage and dropped by after her set, but I’d already decided to leave before I got swarmed. There was also some drama going on around the bar with one of the dancers or servers yelling about something to management. Right around then I got up and walked out, past whatever the dust up was.
