Having also been a regular at the old Tootsies for over 10 years, it was hard for me to transition to the new club and harder still for me to decide to give up and find new clubs to go to. The old club was definitely a 8-9 experience. Unfortunately the new club deserves all the bad ratings noted for the past 3 months. Part of my review is based on just how bad Tootsies has become, while an equal part is based on direct comparisons to other clubs now in the area. First, the best looking girls have all left and the club has now become 90% latino/cuban which is fine if that is what you are looking for. I personnally love classy blondes and all American girl next door types and both types are long gone. Second, the outfits are terrible and the average girl in the place is a 4-5, tatoos abound, piercing abound and bad boob jobs seem common place. Next, the lap dance areas have become a joke. While fun can be had, it is not like the old days and it will cost a lot more. Talking with any girl is out of the question there as they are charging you to sit per song. The hustle factor noted in a number of reivews is dead on and it is uncomfortable to put up with it. The downstairs VIP costs significantly more than the old days and the waitress is making almost nothing, hitting you up for a tip by telling you how poor they are. The upstair VIP suite area is simply a very high priced brothel. You can take almost any girl in the place upstairs for $2000 and have essentially a hotel room all to your own. Consider how absurd it is to pay this much? You can hire the girls OTC for half of that and there are plenty of other clubs in the area that will cost half of this for the same treatment. The girls who the regulars came to love are mostly gone. On top of this, many girls complained to me about the amount of drugs upstairs and I personnally do not want to be in a club where it is that well known. Years ago I was in the old Treasure Island in Hialeah on a night when Vice and Narcotics raided the club and got trapped there for 4 hours till 3 AM while they checked out everyone in the place, checked all the girls, the VIP rooms, the lockers, etc. I vowed never to let this happen again, so be warned now that it can easily happen here. The main stage area is surrounded by little tables with the most uncomfortable straight chairs imaginable almost like they want you to get up to go to a friction room just to find a comfortable place to sit.. ha. The VIP sitting area is better, although they charge you $25 to sit there and then more for drinks. If you have to go, sit there, as the girls will figure you have money and seek you out. Skip the upstairs, unless you are ready to drop $2000 to $4000 or more.

Cheer up, though... if you want classy girls and normal fun (but no more) - go to Scarletts which has good looking girls but cameras in the friction and champagne rooms. Similarly, Pure Platinum in Ft Lauderdale has a variety of good looking girls and the private rooms cost half oF Tootsies with the same upside. The Cheetah in Hallendale is becoming more like the oldTootsies everyday, while the ones in Pompano and WPB had 70+ absolutely gorgeous women there the last 3 times I visited, all willing to please in the friction and champagne rooms for (again) half of tootsies prices (including tips, etc.) They all had better atmosheres, all had girls come up waiting to talk to me and try to get me to become a regular, and all had more comfortable seating, multiple stages were you wre closer to the action, etc. For example, last week at Cheetah there were 4 stages going at lunchtime, so no matter where you sat in the club there was a good looking naked girl within 20 feet of your eyes, compared to the single stage at Tootsies where the average guy is 50-100 feet away unless he sits at the rail, as most do not do so as to avoid tips. Even the table dances at both Cheetahs were intimate, while those in Tootsies are in front of all 100 patrons.. now how is that for privacy and enticement? Even the bartenders (all female) at Cheetah WPB were topless, so you got viewing up close free with your drink. Last, if all you want is low cost sleeze, go to Flash Dance or the former Masters in Hialeah.... you can get what you want there with girls who look the same as the new Tootsies girls for one third the cost. Skip Tootsies guys and go to the clubs where you will have a better time and not get soaked, hustled and even insulted by the management. I may check back in 9 months to a year, but only if I see the reviews really pick up. The few good reviews I did see here appear to be from some out of town guys who don't have nude dancing in their towns and thing somehow this is unique to Tootsie.. sorry, it isn't.
