Enter another ex-Tootsies regular who has given up. I used to got to the old Tootsies 2-3 days per week, usually days although some swing shifts. In the old club the gilrs would talk with the regulars and sit over some drinks, tease you in many ways, entice you to a fiction booth or vip and deliver...... in many different ways. Many enjoyed giving or getting massages and many a free dance could be had if you were able to relax them. It was usual in the friction area to get 5-6 dances, relax for 5-6 more songs with some drinks in relative privacy and go again, almost as if you were in a VIP. FORGET that in the new club! the door man is counting every song and the prices went up, sitting costs you and massages are frowned on. The chairs are uncomfortable, the VIP area is so open it is ridiculous and the girls are now like machines. They need to get you in and out to make their money, the prices went up to $25/song, there is no such thing as talking.... drink prices are nuts, massages are openly frowned on in the main floor, in fact, they have a massage girl now starting around the swing shift who considers it stealing for a girl to give you a massage, and the new management is discouraging massages being given by customers. So much for relaxing your favorite girl. I tried the new club now for almost 5 months, sometimes in loyalty to some of the girls who I have known for years. Most of the good looking ones have left, including only this week Brigitte who was a blonde 10 and one of the sweetest women who ever worked there. The hustling has gotten out of hand and i completely agree with the last group of reviewers over the past 2-3 months. The girls have gone from friendly to machines, running around to hit up guy after guy and time is money attitude. The overall quality of the girls has dropped dramatically, from a lot of 5-9's to a lot of 3-5's. The outfits are really bad and not at all attractive. The issue raised in some of the reviews of the upstairs VIP area and sky boxes is very real, as some of the formerly nice girls have gotten trapped into a world of rich guys upstairs who can buy anyone and anything. I used to enjoy talking and playing with Houston, for example, but for whatever reason she suddenly needs money and has become one of the worst hustlers in the place. what used to cost me $600 in the old club was upped to over $2000 to play with her upstairs (or more) and her comment to me was, "tough - the guys upstairs will pay that and more". On the other hand, she and her friends now will play OTC for about half of this, knowing some guys will balk at paying the club $1000 for the skybox with tips for 2 hours, plus her fee, but will be glad to pay her more on a net basis OTC. That is not why I go to the clubs as I am not looking to get spotted someplace outside with a hooker. Sorry.. I won't be back!
