Remodeled Flight Club

The remodeling of the Flight Club is finished, and it looks good. They removed the 2 satellite stages that jutted out from the main stage. These stages did bring the dancers close to customers' tables, but they were dangerous for the dancers, who had to walk from the main stage on a narrow gangplank that was little bigger than a balance beam. A drunken dancer in stripper heels could easily fall.

The DJ booth is now on the second floor, and a stairway has been constructed down from the DJ area to the south end of the stage, much like the Penthouse Club. The stairway allows dancers to make a more eye-catching entrance. A small set of steps in the middle of the stage is used to get down off the stage. A dancer told me that the surface of the steps on the stairs provides good traction, but she did not like the openness on the sides of the stairway down from the DJ booth. She felt it would be possible to fall off the side if she were drunk.

You can now walk around the whole second floor. They have added some VIP booths, although there are usually more than enough. The gaming tables have been removed from the old casino area. This is now another seating area with black leather sofas. The sofas are kind of crowded together and did not seem appealing to me. No one was sitting in this new area when I was there.
