Whole Less than the Sum of its Parts

Was I really the last TUSCLer to review this place? I'll also be the last ever TUSCLer to review the place because it is now gone.

To mangle a classic quote, I’ve come to bury Vanity Factory not to praise it. If you drive by the location now it has "Trophies" on the sign out front. It’s now apparently also open for lunch, if the ad hanging off the outside wall is to be believed. Thank goodness for that, because where else could I have gone for the afternoon munchies? When I dropped by on a Thursday night before the switchover the parking lot looked full, so went ahead and took a look around inside. There was a valet but is was optional. Tip whatever you wanted. I was there after 9pm, so there were actually dancers onstage this time. Not the hottest you’ll ever see, but not terrible either. Maybe Trophies is still a strip club and a simple rebrand, so I’m giving more details than “the club is closed”.

There was one dancer on the stage by the entrance when I walked into the main club from the lobby, and she motioned for me to walk over so she could shake her moneymaker in front of me. It got her a couple of dollars. There were people seated throughout the main floor and the bar, and there was a card game happening at a table in the back left of the club near the bar. There was a large screen that took up a lot of the wall on the back right of the main floor, and there was a basketball game on that a few people were watching. There were servers milling around, and two dancers on the back stage near the back bar. At this point I still wasn’t motivated to sit down, so I stood by the back bar looking around for a dancer that caught my eye.
