Another sad visit

Well I tried again. Made another pilgrimage to this club on my semi-annual trip to Ohio. I'm always hopeful the place has changed. So you pull in off a dark back road and through a truck stop-- trying to avoid being hit by a big rig and drive up to 77 Sunset strip. It's strategically located next to a huge porn store. It's a dodgy looking parking lot-- dark, giving you the feeling that someone could pop out of the shadows at any moment with a gun. Not helpful that there is only a few cars parked out front-- not a good sign. It's 8 pm. I walk in and have to present a ID-- which disturbingly they photo copy. But in a sliver of good news they give me a huge discount because I'm military.

Nice. You walk in and the place is expansive. A big bar with loads of seats and a wide stage. Florida strip club huge. But only three other customers other than me. Well it is 8 pm on a Wed. I have a seat and no one approaches me to buy a drink. No one is on stage dancing. After about five minutes of sitting I walk up to the bar and order a drink. Very reasonably priced for the watered down rum. Finally, 15 minutes later a dancer hits the stage-- a 5 at best. She does three dances with bare enthusiasm. I tip her and she smiles. Another dancer takes the stage-- a 3 at best. Yikes. The first dancer heads to a table with the other patrons and sits with them. Two other dancers-- one a solid 7 or 8 emerge from a side entrance (dancer smoking area) and they head to the other table.

No one approaches me for the next 30 minutes. No offer of a drink, or dance or anything. I know they have 20 dollar a song dances and they have in the past tried to get me to take a $250 private dance in a separate room. I did it one time several years ago and for the money it was terrible. Better to have taken 12 $20 dances. Ha. So another 30 minutes pass-- still nothing. The other table with the three guys has the girls. Two or three more girls come in and they head to a dark corner and sit flipping through their cell phones. A sad place indeed. I left after 90 minutes-- filled with four rum and cokes and a pocket full of cash. Does anyone know a better club in the state of West Virginia. I'm appealing to the masses. Thanks.
