Passing On A Heads-Up Regarding Dancer Tactics
After reading another recent review of Chicas, I decided to check things out for myself. Things were a little more mellow vs the past few months, but instead of the bouncer patrolling the premises for ultra liberal activities by the dancers, it was the manager (?) / owner (?) who was walking around. Whoever he was, he was a very corpulent man. A couple girls that I had $10 dances with agreed with me that he was a "muy malo hombre" (very bad man) for disrupting the interplay between the employees and the customers. Whatever.
What I would like to pass on as something to be aware of is the girls seem to be operating in packs. (1). I had signed up for 5 of the $10 dances with one of the girls, and at the end of the agreed-to interactions, it was time for her to be on stage. So she had one of the other dancers come over to keep me occupied with 5 more dances while she was on stage. Not that the other girl was unsatisfactory or anything, but girl #1 was determined to keep the other wolves away from me. So girl #2 and I had 5 more dances. Moderately successful, subject to the manager / boss coming around. At the end of her shift on the pole, #1 came back. Was I ready for some more $10 dances, or would I like to try the VIP? I was curious as to what to expect in the new, improved VIP room. She (naturally) assured me things were much more "relaxed" in the VIP. So I signed up. 2). As soon as song # 1 started, in came girl #3 and jumped into my lap. They wanted to do a 2-on-1, at (naturally) 2-on-1 prices. Apparently #1 and #3 worked as a team. I finished the first song and pleaded poverty. BTW, the VIP wasn't any better than the $10 dances over on the north side. The VIP dances have a MSRP of $25, though initially girl #1 had agreed to a discount down to $20 per dance (after paying a $25 VIP fee).
What I'm alerting people to is that things have been slow at the club with the recent clamp-down by management, and now the girls are apparently trying to help each other out in generating cash flow. Which is understandable but I'm just not physically able to handle two at a time, and especially my wallet is not able to do so either. I don't know how many other customers can do so as well. As the Romans used to say, "caveat emptor" (let the buyer beware). Or the customer, as the case may be.
