Well, they finally renovated it. They put in a new stage, and replaced the tables. The place doesn't look half bad now, but is disappointing for other reasons.

I got there on a Tuesday evening around 9:30. I bought a beer ($6.10) from the bartender, who had to shortchange me a dollar because he didn't have change. The ladies were disappointing as well. I was there for about an hour and was not asked for a dance. This might not be a bad thing, because some of the girls looked kind of strung out. That, or they spent more time outside smoking than they spent inside dancing. They were not the quality that you'd get at Solid Gold. Plus, they 2-for-1 VIP Tuesdays might be done, since in the time I was there I didn't heat the DJ mention it. There's also no mention of it on the billboard outside.

The music is way too loud here, to the point that you can't hear the person next to you, even when you're shouting. They may have gone overboard if they upgraded their sound system during the renovation.
