Got my black cherry popped.

I have never been to a Black club before. Mainly because where I reside - in Jacksonville - the only three predominantly black bars we have are either in a very poor neighborhood or have had a history of crime happen within or right outside the business. Girls I know that have worked in them have told me that the atmosphere would be a bit aggressive for me to handle, so up until this point, I’ve never thought about attending them. Daytona Beach is another town that I frequent, but I don’t believe they have any chocolate bars (Hell, they don’t even have a nude bar anymore, which is pretty suck-ish for me).

However, since I arrived in Atlanta, things were to be a little different in terms of my list of places to hop. Knowing that I’ve never been to a Black club before, a few mongers gave me a couple of recommendations that they thought I would find satisfying during my trip. DoctorEvil and I decided that (after another coin flip) we were to go to Strokers after our stop at the Pink Pony. He told me he liked it, reviews proved reasonable on their TUSCL page, I figured why not.

If I were by myself and tried to find this place on my own, I would have never suspected that this place was a club just by looking at the outside. Not in a bad way, but the business blends pretty casually with the other stores and food chains on the lot since it’s located within a mini mall. But getting a closer look at the window paint design, I suppose you’d get enough of a hint at where you’re about go once you see the logo and the paper listing the rules and how late they’re open by the door. Well, after checking out the exterior, we made our way inside.
