Mixed Review

As stated before, the construction makes this place almost impossible to get to. I ended up having to go about 50 yards the wrong way on a one-way street. That apparently doesn't stop people from finding it, as the parking lot was packed at midnight on a Thursday. There was a strong Thug element hanging out near the doors, but I'm not easily intimidated, so it was no big deal for me. Inside this place is pretty nice - it's clean and looks more like a neighborhood bar with a pool table and claw machine. It is much better lit than most strip clubs. There was no music playing when I arrived and there seems to be no stage at all. Bottled water was $3. I didn't visit the restroom but if the rest of the bar is any indication, it should be fine.

There must have been 15 customers - male and female, young and old. There was an old lady playing the video machine. Mostly it seemed like locals hanging out at their neighborhood bar. I saw 4 dancers. Two were both rail-thin white brunettes - and I mean THIN. Like if they turned sideways they disappeared. The other white girl must have found the weight that the other two lost - she was bursting her seams. Last of the 4 was a thicker AA. Pretty, but not my cup of tea. All four dancers were hanging out by the jukebox and chatting. I didn't see a single dance performed while I was there. No VIP, nothing at the bar, nothing at all. It's like they all already made their money and were just waiting for the place to close. I was approached only by the heavy white girl, which I declined. The best looking one there was the bartender, though it took me almost 5 minutes to catch her attention for a drink.

This place is a mixed bag. The building is nice (if currently hard to get to). The crowd it's drawing will send it downhill fast - people with money don't like walking past guys wearing colors. I think I may return in a few months - hopefully there will be a better variety of dancers. That, or the one fat one will finish eating the thin ones and there will be just one giant stripper. With any luck the thug element will move to a different area. You'd expect it at LA, down the street, since it looks like a dive, but LA seems to be mostly retired white guys.
