Going to the Oasis to quench my thirst.
This was the very first club that I had in mind to visit once I made it to Atlanta. Mainly because if I ever danced in town, this would probably be the ideal club for me (assuming it lasts longer than people are saying it won’t). Heard you didn’t need a permit or be over 21 to work there (the latter isn’t my concern) and that management is pretty okay to deal with. That’s a good start to a first impression. But during my trip, I wasn’t going to dance anywhere. I just wanted to check out the atmosphere and the ladies in all the bars that I’ve heard good things about.
I arrived in town Thursday right at rush hour, and after getting situated in the hotel and freshening up, the plan decided was to start off the club hopping with dinner at Oasis GTE with EastCoaster. I’ve heard a huge mixture of things about it, but mostly good things, and was willing to go in and see how my experience would turn out.
Pulling into the lot, they had a share of free parking and valet by the looks of things. We parked somewhere within the middle of the lot so that we weren’t too close or far from the main entrance and made our way inside. It was around 8PM, and it was hard to miss this club driving by. The LEDs on their sign were quite blaring in the darkness, plus it’s conveniently located by a Mexican restaurant if you’d rather start your night off with tequila and nachos at a more reasonable price.
