Average Club. Didn't Really Make an Impression.

I’ve been in this club a few times, but I think this is the first time I’ve written a review. The visit just never really stuck with me long enough to get anything written down. This time I walked in and decided I’d try and pay enough attention to write about it afterward. My last visit was about one, possibly two, minutes. This time I gave it a good 15 minutes before I walked out.

Was stuck on I-10 with some time to kill between appointments, so why not take a few minutes to not sit in traffic? Walked in around 3pm on a Friday. No cover. Door girl will ask for your ID. The club decor is very dark, so give your eyes time to adjust so you don’t walk into something in the hallway. Follow the music around to the main area of the club. The hallway opens up into a decent sized club, and you will see a row of three island stages off to your left. The middle stage is the largest, and where dancers start their dance set. At this time of day, 2 of 4 stages on the main floor were going. There is a fourth stage and pole built into the bar at the center of the club. Two raised seating areas, with one marked VIP. Section in back separated by beads, and a VIP area called Skybox behind glass. There is a kitchen here which is open until midnight, but I didn’t get anything since I didn’t want to wait around for food. Before 7pm the drink specials are $4 rail, $5 other liquor, and $4.25 for long neck beers. There was good selection of liquor and beer.

The day shift dancers were mainly latina, and most were carrying around a few extra pounds. The dancer that I noticed up on stage was Bridget, and she was the only stage dancer I saw get tips while I was there. Bridget got a tip, but the main reason she stood out was her presence and the lack of interesting talent on either stage before she got up. The hottest dancer on the floor was probably a 7 on most scales, and she was a black dancer who was slim but curvy in the right spots. She had on a red bikini outfit that was pretty flattering, but by the time I got where I could catch her eye the guy she had been sitting with was back. No biggie. By that point I was fishing for something positive when I should have been cutting bait to walk out. That was a couple of minutes later.
